I am gradually adding new scans and a few new images from an ongoing love of making photographs of the ocean. I am sometimes dissatisfied with the concreteness of photography and these photos allow me to escape the camera's insistence on capturing every little detail of the scene before it. The low light levels and constantly moving water evade the camera's propensity to freeze a moment in time and instead allow the viewer to focus on the more abstract nature of light and water.
